Dr. Alfred Mbinglo is the founder/CEO of the SKYWORLD RESOURCES LIMITED established to undertake investments in tourism, affordable housing and other sectors in Ghana. He is an accomplished executive with domestic and international experience in both start-up and growth organization with a long track record of successful business management in many sectors.
He is an inspiring and motivational leader with first-rate interpersonal skills and the ability and passion of developing the vision of any company he manages. With his directorship and CEO experience, he ensures that clear objectives and expectations of an organization are delivered and maintained.
Dr. Mbinglo is an entrepreneur, author, migration consultant, social worker, philanthropist and founder/director of RECFAM, an international organization established in 2004 to protect vulnerable children and promote safe migration/health, empower women/marginalised groups towards development (www.recfam.org) and co-founder of Tume Integrated Empowerment College (www.tiecollege.com). The college offered entrepreneurship skill training, Information Technology Courses, languages (French/English) and remedial classes for BECE/WASSCE candidates. Through him, RECFAM has also established a Social Enterprise to produce bio-degradable sanitary pads out of banana/plantain fiber known as PRIDE for rural school girls/women who lack access to proper menstrual hygiene products. The social enterprise empowers girls/women at every step in the process through job creation, leadership training, education and social entrepreneurship (www.pridepadghana.org).
Dr. Mbinglo is the president of NAOMID, a network that mobilize resources for development and build synergy mechanism with African Governments, inter-governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and migrant-led community projects to harness migrants’ technical, entrepreneurial, financial, and human/social resources to promote national and transnational development of Africa (www.naomid.org).
He has done research and analysis on the factors underpinning development in Africa and the causes of many Africans migrating to the West to seek for greener pastures. His works has led him to travel around lecturing in universities like University of Basel Centre for African Study; University of Hamburg Mission Academic; Bern University of Applied Sciences Burgdorf in Switzerland; University of Colorado Boulder Center for Values and Social Policy among others.
Dr. Mbinglo has worked as a national coordinator for the West Africa Network (WAN) for child protection and young migrants on the move in Ghana (initiative of Swiss Foundation of the International Social Service) sponsored by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), European Commission and ECOWAS (2011 – 2015).
He is the author of Drama Behind the Church Signboard, Black Angels in the White Man’s Country and Overseas Traffic Jam: Is it Divine or Ambition? His journal on New Pentecostal Churches in West Africa was published on Zeitschrift fur Mission in Switzerland.
Dr. Mbinglo has also worked intensively reintegrating migrants and vulnerable children through education, vocational and/or professional training with the overall objectives of giving them hope and turning them into assets rather than liability for their local communities/countries for socio-economic development. He offered counselling to irregular (illegal) and distressed African migrants including those in detention camps and prisons to apply for voluntary return and reintegration of intake Diaspora Skills Migrant for development in their home Countries with various stakeholders.
Mr. Frederick Gladstone WULFF, a Co-Board Member of the SKYWORLD RESOURCES LTD. A Master Artisan; (A state Approved Building Technician) and a resident of Hamburg Germany is Ghanaian by birth.
Having started his career as a Draughtsman in Hamburg, he acquired a two years’ experience in “single family houses construction”; he furthered his education at G19 Hamburg-Nettelnburg and completed in 1984. He was recalled in his former company as a Site-Overseer in Office Construction Engineer. Frederick Wulff worked as Supervisor in various office buildings in Hamburg; Düsseldorf-Neuss and Wesel.
Mr. Wulff is currently re-orienting to Ghana as Co-Director and Technical Director of the SKYWORLD PROJECT “SkyCity” in Ghana.
Dr. Ajume H. Wingo, a Co-Board Member/Adviser of the SKYWORLD RESOURCES LIMITED is a Cameroonian resident in America. He is a Professor of Philosophy; Associate Director of the Center for Values and Social Policy; and the Director of the Law and Philosophy Program at the University of Colorado-Boulder in United State of America. Ajume is the author Veil Politics in Liberal Democratic States published by Cambridge University Press.
Dr. Wingo taught philosophy at Clark University-Worcester, Emerson College, and the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He was a Fellow at the Du Bois Institute at Harvard University, a Fellow at the Center for Race and Social Policy at Boston University, and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Democracy and Development at the McCormack Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Currently, Dr. Wingo is co-board member/adviser to Skyworld Resources Limited project in Ghana.
Mr. Justice Opoku-Benson, an Architect for SKYWORD RESOURCES LIMITED is a Ghanaian. He is responsible for development of design brief, working drawings, details and landscape designs, documentation and analysis of all architectural works with his team.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Atlantic International University Hawaii, U.S.A. He also attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he obtained a Diplomat in Architectural Technology and Proficiency Certificate in Architectural Draughtsmanship in Ghana.
Mr. Opoku-Benson is an architect/architectural technologist, who over fifteen years has been involved in Architectural design, construction/supervision of public, industrial, commercial, residential buildings among others as well as development of real estate projects.
He designed the proposed Market and Gated community in Monrovia for former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia. In Ghana, Mr. Opoku-Benson was a team member in Museum and research center for ex. President John Agyekum Kuffuor, Ghana Bui Power Authority, Community development design (School, Clinic, Club House and Shopping Mall), Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Eye centre of excellence (KATH / Himalayan cataract project/USAID) in Kumasi, KATH family planning unit/burns and plastic surgery centre, KNUST Law School/Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Redevelopment of Kumasi children’s park Hostels for 6000 students for central university college at Prampram. Accra Classroom blocks and laboratory for Garden City University College, Kumasi, New Ramseyer Presbyterian Church, Adum- Kumasi among many others.
Mr. Opoku-Benson was also involved in the Rehabilitation of 3K water project in Kumawu by designing staff accommodation for TAHAL Consulting Group Ltd in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He has played a crucial role to the success of many major projects both local and international.
